Kate was awarded a DaDA to train at the Guildford School of Acting, graduating with a BA(Hons) degree in Musical Theatre.
Kate has played a variety of roles throughout her professional career so far. Her first role out of drama school was Dick Whittington in pantomime for Rainbow Productions. She’s also played Dandini in Cinderella in the lovely Lincoln Theatre Royal (with Cannon and Ball as the ugly sisters which was a laugh a minute!) and a Roller skating fairy in the Owen Money Theatre Company’s production of Dick Whittington, complete with helmet and L plates!
Kate has also played Virginia Farquhar in Death By Fatal Murder, U/s and played Nancy Allwright, Death by Fatal Murder and U/s Sarah/Young Sarah in That’s Love, all UK Tours for Ian Dickens Productions. She also enjoyed playing Anne in the development workshop and concert of Another Bite Of The Apple, directed by Rich Tunley and written by Frank Vickery and playing Deryn in Breaking The String, Frank Vickery, Grass Roots Productions. Kate also played a J-Belle in the original cast of the new musical Stalking John Barrowman and has also played a variety of roles in various short films such as Brewer's Droop and Lift Jockey's for Stone fever Productions. Kate was Company Manager and performed as part of the Adonia Theatre Company for P&O cruises as a production singer, as Sybil in Coward’s Private Lives and played both Vicky and Judith in David Tristram’s The Opposite Sex. Kate also toured Wales with Frank Vickery's 'Three Of The Best'.
