What happens when you get ten musical theatre performers in a room together and throw hashtags at them?!
Our mission at #StageFaves is make musical performers bigger stars by working with them to harness the collective power of social media. As part of this, we've launched a series of social media workshops, free for all performers who are featured on the site. These ten performers who attended our first workshop are already on Twitter but they've now had the platform demystified - and learnt tips and tricks to tame Twitter and make it much more effective (and less time-consuming!) for communicating with their fans and peers.
StageFaves founder Terri Paddock provided this hands-on tuition last Sunday afternoon, including detailed feedback on their own Twitter accounts and examples of how to use functionality like Twitter Moments (like the one below). Attendees also learned how tweeting feeds into their #StageFaves pages and gained more insights into how to get the most out of their #StageFaves pages and our plans for the business.
The feedback? "It was invaluable!"
Our next workshop will take place on Sunday 24 September 2017 in central London. If you're a musical theatre performer on #StageFaves, you can register right now to attend! If you're a musical theatre performer who's not already on the site, help us out by filling in the form on our Add to Directory page.
