A decade before they were winning Oscars for their work on THE GREATEST SHOWMAN and LA LA LAND and Tony Awards galore for the stunning DEAR EVAN HANSEN, the songwriting duo Pasek & Paul wrote a little song-cycle that went by the name EDGES.
EDGES is about the trials and tribulations of moving into adulthood and examines the search for love, commitment and meaning. It was originally written by Benj and Justin when they were students at the University of Michigan and has since had dozens of productions throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
In 2014, a one-night performance of EDGES took pace at the Delfont Room at the Prince of Wales Theatre. Our #StageFavesSongOfTheWeek is from that show. Here, Carrie Hope Fletcher performs "I've Gotta Run" about commitment issues...
