Three Kates in Titanic

You have one extra week to see TITANIC, the first offering in Thom Southerland and Danielle Tarento's Charing Cross season of musicals. And, with a special Tuesday matinee, other West End #StageFaves performers are especially invited...

TITANIC's record-breaking season at London’s Charing Cross Theatre has been extended by a week and will now finish on Saturday 13 August 2016. The regular midweek matinee on Wednesday 10 August will move to become a “Stagey Matinee” on Tuesday 9 August to give other West End performers chance to see it.

Ahead of the extension, TITANIC composer Maury Yeston (Nine, Grand Hotel) is flying in from New York to take part in an after-show Q&A on Tuesday July 26 with Matt Wolf, London theatre critic of The International New York Times and Theatre Editor at The Arts Desk. The Charing Cross season of musicals, under the direction of artistic director Thom Southerland and producer Danielle Tarento, also includes the European premiere of Maury Yeston’s Death Takes a Holiday, running from 3 December 2016 to 21 January 2017.

TITANIC has become one of the hottest, must-see shows in the West End, with 25 five-star rave reviews and being named Critic’s Choice in many national newspapers including The Times, Mail on Sunday, Evening Standard, The Daily Telegraph and Time Out. The multi Tony Award-winning Broadway musical also launched Thom Southerland’s inaugural season as Artistic Director at Charing Cross Theatre.

In the final hour of 14 April 1912 the RMS Titanic, on her maiden voyage from Southampton to New York, collided with an iceberg and ‘the unsinkable ship’ slowly sank. It was one of the most tragic disasters of the 20th Century. 1517 men, women and children lost their lives.

TITANIC is produced by Danielle Tarento, Steven M. Levy, Sean Sweeney and Vaughan Williams.
