On 9 June, the 2018 Tony Awards took place and in an undeniably epic turn of events, THE BAND'S VISIT blew all competition away winning 10 Tony Awards! Yep - TEN!!! To celebrate such a significant victory for the only show in its category of Best Musical (which of course, it won) not to have been based on a popular movie or TV show, we decided our song of the week would be "Answer Me", sung live on TODAY...
The performance itself starts around the two-minute mark, but watch the beginning to see the moment the cast (and leading actors) are first told they're nominated for the awards they would go on to win!
