In its new season - which includes high-profile plays and big-name casting including Mark Gatiss and Hollywood's Anne Archer - Off-West End powerhouse the Park Theatre, in Finsbury Park, north London, has announced two new musical premieres, which follow hot on the heels of next month's premiere of Dougal Irvine's The Buskers Opera at the same address. However, unlike The Buskers Opera, which runs in Park200 - the theatre's 200-seat main house - the new productions are mounted upstairs in the more intimate, 90-seat Park90 studio.
American musical The Burnt Part Boys receives its European premiere in August, followed by the world premiere of British musical drama This Little Life of Mine in October. Curiously, both shows' posters feature hand-held objects, at different ends of the technology spectrum... Both shows are now added to our growing Off-West End shows list on StageFaves - we await casting news!
