Idina Menzel is back in concert mode

Hold on to your Wicked witches' hats. One of our all-time favourite Broadway #StageFaves is crossing the pond with her latest concert show this summer as part of a 2017 world tour. The one and only Idina Menzel will play the Royal Albert Hall in June as part of a handful of UK concert dates...

Idina will play London's most prestigious concert hall on 15 June 2017, with other UK one-night stands that month in Bristol (14 June), Portsmouth (16 June), Manchester (18 June), Birmingham (19 June) and Glasgow (20 June).

This tour will see Idina lead audiences through a special journey of songs from her eponymous fifth album - idina, released in September 2016 - as well as other classic pop, musical theatre favourites and picks from her own personal catalogue.

Idina's diverse career includes originating the role of Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway and in the West End, for which she won a Tony Award, plus leading musical credits in Rent, Aida and If/Then, as well as providing the voice of Elsa in Frozen (we can all sing a long with her to "Let It Go"), appearing onscreen in Glee and Disney's Enchanted, performing the National Anthem at Super Bowl XLIX and releasing five studio albums.

Idina last had a headline concert at the Royal Albert Hall in 2011 and also appeared at the venue in the star-studded 21st anniversary concert of Chess - alongside Adam Pascal, Josh Groban and Kerry Ellis (who succeeded her in Wicked) - in 2008.
