The Heathers are here and they mean business in the UK premiere of Heathers – The Musical from 9 June to 4 August 2018. Oh, and did you fancy seeing the cast’s old high school pictures, then go no further…

Jodie Steele (Chandler), Sophie Isaacs (McNamara) and T’Shan Williams (Duke) – The Heathers, with Jamie Muscato as Jason Dean (JD), join Carrie Hope Fletcher as Veronica Sawyer. Also in the cast are Chris Chung (Kurt Kelly), Dominic Anderson (Ram Sweeney), Jenny O’Leary (Martha Dunnstock) and Rebecca Lock (Mrs Flemming). To celebrate the new classmates, an additional 250 tickets have been released with new seats available at all prices.

Greetings, salutations. Welcome to Westerberg High, where popularity is so very a matter of life and death, and Veronica Sawyer is just another of the nobodies dreaming of a better day. But when she’s unexpectedly taken under the wings of the three beautiful and impossibly cruel Heathers, her dreams finally start to come true. Until JD turns up, the mysterious teen rebel who teaches her that it might kill to be a nobody, but it’s murder being a somebody…

Laurence O’Keefe (Legally Blonde, Bat Boy) and Kevin Murphy’s (Reefer Madness, Desperate Housewives) musical adaptation is based on the 1988 teen film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater. The show had successful runs in Los Angeles and New York.

Following a 2017 workshop, the musical returns with new songs, new material and new classmates and produced by Bill Kenwright and Paul Taylor Mills. The creative team is led by director Andy Fickman with choreographer Gary Lloyd, designer David Shields, lighting designer Ben Cracknell and sound designer Dan Samson.
