The four-strong cast of #StageFaves for the return of satirical West End review JEST END are: Bronte Barbe, Daniel Buckley, Jemma Alexander and Adam Bailey. The show returns to the Off-West End Waterloo East Theatre this month...
The hit comedy musical show exploring and 'exposing' the hits, flops and gossip of Theatreland, returns to Waterloo East Theatre after its sell-out season in 2015. JEST END runs for a strictly limited season from 29 November to 18 December 2016, with a press night on 1 December.
Labeled as London’s answer to Forbidden Broadway, JEST END has been going from strength to strength since the birth of the show at Jermyn Street Theatre 2007. The 2016 edition will include 20 new songs and 15 updated classics from the latest and most popular West End musicals including Groundhog Day, School Of Rock, Funny Girl, Matilda, Lion King, Wicked, The Phantom of the Opera and Les Miserables, as well as forthcoming 2017 Broadway transfer Hamilton - to name but a few.
JEST END is created and directed by Garry Lake, with musical supervision by James Doughty and musical direction by James Taylor. The 2016 cast are: Jemma Alexander (Bat Out of Hell, Wicked, Rent), Bronte Barbe (Sherk, Donkey Show), Adam Bailey (Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Starlight Express, Taboo) and Daniel Buckley (Sweeney Todd, Users, Book of Mormon, Loserville).
