Our #FirstNightTakeover series continues with Perry O'Bree attending the West End opening (on 17 November 2016) of HALF A SIXPENCE, now transferred to the Noel Coward Theatre after winning rave reviews at Chichester Festival Theatre. See his blue-carpet and backstage selfies and videos with the creators and stars of the show...
This new stage version of HALF A SIXPENCE has a book man-of-the-moment Julian Fellowes (his second West End premiere this week, after Monday's opening of School of Rock), reunitng with his Mary Poppins collaborators, George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. The trio will be represented twice over in the West End when their new adaptation of The Wind in the Willows, currently on tour, transfers to the London Palladium. Busy boys!
Perry got up-close and personal with the creatives and, after the show, nipped backstage to meet the stars, including Charlie Stemp, Emma Williams and Ian Bartholomew.
After you've taken a look at Perry's tweets and videos below, be sure to check out HALF A SIXPENCE's #StageFaves page and get even more social with the show and its cast (we've got All I Want for Christmas fan merchandise for each and every one of them!).
