All the #StageFaves in the company of Committee...A New Musical are gearing up for their first preview this weekend, so we're pleased to be able to share this video clip of them rehearsing the song 'We Want To Learn'. Hadley Fraser, Josie Rourke and composer Tom Deering have transformed part of an inquiry into ‘The collapse of Kids Company’ in to a brand-new musical which looks very interesting indeed.
It is 65 years since Eva Perón died so what better way to celebrate her legacy than by welcoming Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita back into the West End for 12 weeks this summer. Leading the cast are #StageFaves Emma Hatton and the Italian Gian Marco Schiaretti.
Proving that there's life beyond Strictly, reigning Strictly Come Dancing champion Joanne Clifton has been announced as Alex Owens in a new production of Flashdance – The Musical, co-starring singer-songwriter Ben Adams, which will tour the UK in 2017 and 2018.
There may be Five Guys Named Moe but there's more than five #StageFaves in the newly-announced cast for the new production of Clarke Peters’ Olivier Award-winning and Tony-Award nominated musical. A trailer has also been released for the production will open on 14 September 2017, giving us a sneak peek of the new temporary theatre in Marble Arch, London where the show will run.

Our #FirstNightTakeover series continues with Perry O'Bree attending the official world premiere (on 20 June 2017) of BAT OUT OF HELL at the London Coliseum. Which rock 'n' roll celebrities did he meet on the red carpet and at the after-party? (Here's a hint. The names include: McFly's Tom Fletcher, Craig Revel Horwood, Steps' Lisa Scott Lee and Faye Tozer, Arlene Phillips, Richard Fleeshman, Nathan Amzi and, well, tons of the cast and creatives!)

Fortunately for them, their secrets are safe as it is Adrian Mole's diary that now has a cast full of brilliant #StageFaves attached to it, as the Menier Chocolate Factory have announced the full company for their brand new production of Sue Townsend’s The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4 – The Musical which opens in Adrian’s 50th birthday year.
They told us to #keeptalkingaboutJamie and our wishes would come true... It’s not every press release that begins with a fairy tale, still less one that actually comes true. But thanks to Jamie Campbell, Firecracker Films, Michael Ball, Sheffield Theatres and Nica Burns, a new British musical by a new British theatre writing and directing team, Everybody’s Talking About Jamie opens at the Apollo Theatre on Wednesday 22 November 2017.

The mark of true #StageFaves is that not only are they great performers onstage, but that they are also great people offstage. So it is amazing to see how many performers have answered the call from Giles Terera and Danielle Tarento to join Songs and Solidarity on Sunday 25th June. Taking place at Trafalgar Studios 1 at 7.30pm, Songs and Solidarity is a West End fundraising gala evening of song, dance and comedy for the hundreds of families made homeless and the relatives of those who lost their lives in the Grenfell Tower fire.

It's not very often a major UK theatre asks for our help, but The National Theatre has done just that! Their production of FOLLIES, which will run from this June until next January is one of their most ambitious to date, with a cast of 37 and 21 live musicians creating a spectacular show in the world famous Olivier Theatre. With that in mind, and a big budget needed to make it happen, the National Theatre have asked for our help...

We've been waiting for what seems like forever, but we can now finally announce that Jamael Westman will be the UK's first Hamilton! He'll be joined by Michael Jibson as King George and a whole host of #StageFaves previously announced. We cannot wait until November! Our excitement is truly starting to RISE UP!!

We won't be growing any long noses in the #StageFaves office because it's totally true - PINOCCHIO is coming to the National Theatre this winter as part of the newly announced season (which includes the #StageFaves-filled FOLLIES). With the writing brains behind the RSC's MATILDA and with songs and score from the original Walt Disney film, it's certainly going to be a treat for all the family...
