PROM KWEEN is taking Edinburgh by storm this August, selling to packed out, party-ready crowds at Underbelly Cowgate and even winning The Stage award for Best Ensemble. This camp, funny and touching show about the true story of a non-binary teenager who ran for Prom Queen (and won!) is stealing hearts and changing minds every night at 8:35pm. We chatted to Rebecca Humphries wrote the show and is also in it, about why she wanted to tell this story, how she decided to tackle the issue of gender in a time where everyone seems to have an opinion on it, and how she made the show so FABULOUS Darling!

From West-End shows to major tours; UK premiers to exciting new musicals, George Rae has certainly been around the block when it comes to Musical Theatre in the UK, but now for the first time, he's heading across the pond! They're our favourite all-female long-form Musical Theatre troupe (it's a pretty specific niche, right?) and they're taking the fringe by storm! The lovely ladies of NOTFLIX are selling out every show of their Edinburgh run and not only that, they've just announced an extra-special performance! On Friday 18 August at 6pm, the girlgang will be taking to the stage at the Gilded Balloon's Debating Hall for their biggest show to date! Armed with a set of microphones and full band to back them up, the women of the hour will improvise a full one-hour musical before your very eyes...

The fabulous Ryan Carter isn't just a brilliant performer. The StageFaves superstar, currently raising the roof in MOTOWN THE MUSICAL also runs creative company Ryca Creative who are currently rehearsing for an exciting new event, a new type of Musical Theatre cabaret - 'RyCa : Refresh' - on 20 August...
