SADLY, THIS THEATRE IS NOW CLOSED.
Formerly situated above the Landor pub in Clapham, south London, the Landor Theatre started life in 1994 as the Cage Theatre, before rapidly becoming Upstairs At The Landor in 1995. Its focus was primarily on producing or housing musical theatre productions in an intimate environment. It became the fully-fledged Landor Theatre in 1998, following a refit of the building. Some its credits to date have included renowned fringe productions of Smokey Joe's Cafe, Closer Than Ever, Tomorrow Morning and, in 2013, the London premiere of title of show starring Scott Garnham as Hunter, Simon Bailey as Jeff, Sarah Galbraith as Susan and Sophia Ragavelas.
In summer 2016, the venue closed its Clapham site after more than 20 years, following a dispute between the landlord and the operating company.
