Vivienne Ekwulugo is a performer, singer, songwriter and actress from London whose musical theatre credits include Thriller Live (West End).
Vivienne signed her first record contract at the age of 17, performing as part of a band and as a solo artist. She went on to be a finalist in the national BBC Radio 2 Sold on Song, song writing competition in 2004, which was judged that year by Beverley Knight, Robin Gibb and Graham Gouldman. Since then, she has written two studio albums and was honoured to co-write a third album, Cover Girl, with one of the UK’s leading choral composers Richard Allain.
Vivienne studied musical theatre and acting independently at City Academy London, where she discovered her passion for acting through song. Whilst training, Vivienne played the role of Ms Esther Sherman in Fame as well as Deloris Van Cartier / Sister Mary Clarence in Sister Act at the Alban Arena.
Thriller Live is a concert created to celebrate the career of the "world’s greatest entertainer", Michael Jackson.
