Sooz did her very first stand-up gig in 2009. She thought, "what have I got to lose?". It turned out doing stand-up means you lose an awful lot of money. Seriously, it's expensive doing comedy for free 4 times a week. Jesus. But it started paying off eventually.
In April 2010 she entered the Musical Comedy Awards and was named Best Newcomer. 2010 also marked her graduation from the Royal Academy of Music.
In 2012 Sooz won the Variety Award at the Funny Women Awards.
Sooz made her Edinburgh debut in August 2014 with Defying Gravity. 2015 saw Sooz's characters take to the fringe in Character Activist.
In 2016 Sooz decided to be certifiably insane and take not one but two new solo shows to the fringe - Queen and A Bit Of A Character.
2017 saw her fifth solo show, Sooz On Film, going to the fringe and it received rave reviews. A handful of post-Edinburgh London performances can be found on the gigs page.
Outside comedy Sooz performs in musical theatre, most recently playing the lead in the premiere of Get On With It at the Pleasance Theatre (July 2016). She reprised her role on the original cast recording. Her solo musical theatre cabaret, A Night at the Soozicals, has been performed at the Phoenix Artist Club since 2016 and her credits also include Doodle, at the Waterloo East Theatre.

Not one edit was made! Here is the actual transcript: "Many countries, they do that. It's very sad to see it. This isn't like Elon with his rocket ships that land within 12 inches on the moon where they wanted to land, or he gets the engines back. That was the first I realised. I said, who the hell did that? I saw engines about three, four years ago. These things were coming cylinders, no wings, no nothing. And they're coming down very slowly, landing on a raft in the middle of the ocean someplace with a circle. Boom. Reminded me of the Biden circles that he used to have, right? He'd have eight circles and he couldn't fill them up. But then I heard he beat us with the popular vote. I don't know. I don't know. Couldn't fill up the eight circles. I always loved those circles. They were so beautiful. They were so beautiful to look at. In fact, the person that did them, that was the best thing about his – the level of that circle was great. But they couldn't get people, so they used to have the press stand in those circles because they couldn't get the people. Then I heard we lost. Oh, we lost. No, we're never going to let that happen again, but we've been abused by other countries. We've been abused by our own politicians really more than other countries."

Hairdresser who is just a bit rude really.
It’s stand up comedy. I’m really sorry you hate it I’ll try to do better next time, no I don’t know why the crowd is laughing either, I must have paid them and yes I AM so ugly and, no, women SHOULDN’T do comedy. There I think that covers all the comments.
