Training: Scott was born and educated in Glasgow and trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
Opera and concerts include: recently, The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber with the SPO (UK tour), Remondado in Carmen (English National Opera), and The Painter in Lulu, Borsa in Rigoletto, Don Riccardo and, on occasions, the title role of Ernani in Verdi’s Ernani (English National Opera).
Theatre includes: the title role in The Phantom of the Opera (West End and UK tour) and The Father in Halisinia (world premiere, NT). Other musicals include: Gus, Bustopher Jones and Growltiger in Cats (UK tour), Mr Snow in Carousel and Kayama Yesaemon in Pacific Overtures (Leicester Haymarket), Chess(international tour, Oslo) and Sandy in Brigadoon (Victoria Palace).
Television includes: Taggart, Take the High Road, The Laurence Olivier Awards, Unreported Incident, Call Me Mister, Crimewatch UK, Open House, Echo Island, The Kenny Live Show and Dustin.
Other work includes: Scott is a regular with Radio 2’s Friday Night Is Music Night and has sung with some of Europe’s leading orchestras, including the CBSO, RSNO, Hallé, Gothenburg Symphony, Swedish Chamber Orchestra, BBC Concert Orchestra and RTE Concert Orchestra, with whom he recently played Pilate in the concert version of Jesus Christ Superstar. He has performed with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra as Benjamin Stone in an all-Scottish production of Sondheim’s Follies.Scott has also had the pleasure of singing for The Queen and for the Three Tenors (Pavarotti, Domingo and Carreras).

As The Phantom of the Opera heads into its incredible 34th year in the West End, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh have announced that Australian singer and performer Josh Piterman will make his West End debut as The Phantom from 9 September 2019, with Britt Lenting as Carlotta Giudicelli and Richard Woodford as Monsieur André. Do you feel the music of the night calling you back to Her Majesty’s Theatre?
Joining Tim Howar, who plays the title role in the London production of The Phantom of the Opera for an initial run from 3 September to 8 December 2018, are Kimberly Blake as Carlotta Giudicelli and Ross Dawes as Monsieur Firmin.
Good news for phans! Ben Forster, the masked man who led THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA's 30th birthday gala celebrations this past October, has extended his run. He'll remain in the show, along with Celinde Schoenmaker and Nadim Naaman as Christine and Raoul, until 2 September. Do you know who else calls the Paris Opera House home these days?...
