Sarah Soetaert is originally from Kortrijk, a small city in Belgium. At the age of 9, she left home and went to Antwerp to pursue her dream of becoming a ballet dancer.
Sarah gained a place at the English National Ballet school in 1994 so, aged just 15, she packed her bags and moved to London. Once her training had finished she chanced upon an audition for the Musical Cats in London's West End.
Never consciously giving up ballet, a decision that would have seemed inconceivable back then, she followed a naturally unfolding path that has lead into Musical Theatre, Film, Singing and Television as well as Dance.
