Training: Ryan studied music and recoding at the University of Salford.
Theatre includes: Over the last three years, Ryan has been the musical director of the Thriller Live international tour (opening the show in South Africa, China, Singapore and Abu Dhabi), plus several European and UK tours. In that time he has conducted and performed the show from three chairs – keys 1, guitar 1, and also keys 2/guitars 2. West end: Keyboards on Priscilla Queen of the Desert, guitar/mandolin/drums on Jersey Boys, MD/keys 2/guitar2 on Thriller Live and guitar 1 on Thriller Live.
Other deputy shows: guitar 1 on Rent (Bridewell) and piano on Mack and Mabel (Catford Studio).
