In February 2017 Robert played Widow Twankey in a professional charity production of the pantomime 'Aladdin' at St Augustine's Church in Honor Oak Park. Here, in Robert's take on a classic panto routine, Widow Twankey talks about her dear departed husband, Cal, using as many detergent puns as Robert could think of! How many puns can you spot? In February 2017, Robert appeared in a professional charity pantomime at St Augustine's Church in Honor Oak Park, south-east London. This is his opening spot (written by him too!) as Widow Twankey; followed by his rendition of Cole Porter's 'Come to the Supermarket in Old Peking'. This is from the first performance! Some of Robert's favourite bits from his recent appearances as Cook in 'Alice in Wonderland' (UK National Tour and Must Opera House, Cairo 2014), Mrs Smollet in 'Treasure Island' (UK National Tour 2015) and Nurse Nellie in 'Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood' (Woodville, Gravesend 2015/16). This Christmas Robert will be playing Mrs Smee in 'Peter Pan' at the Camberley Theatre and also producing a double bill of his one act pantomimes at the Drayton Arms Theatre in January.
