Training: (1st) BA Hons degree in musical theatre at Guildford School of Acting. Credits whilst training included Hanschen Rilow in Spring Awakening, Candide in Leonard Bernstein’s Candide, Abel in Children of Eden and Leo Bloom in The Producers.

It’s been five long years but the wait is over, the Olivier Award-winning production of City of Angels – directed by Josie Rourke – is heading to London’s Garrick Theatre in March 2020. The original creative team is back as are Hadley Fraser, Rosalie Craig and Rebecca Trehearn. Oh, and did we mention that Vanessa Williams will be making her West End debut?
They dreamed a dream of performing in the West End and it has come true for Brit School graduate Shan Ako & the Royal Academy of Music’s Lily Kerhoas as they take on the roles of Eponine and Cosette alongside a star-studded cast in Les Misérables – The Staged Concert, running at London’s Gielgud Theatre from 10 August to 30 November 2019.
Our #FirstNightTakeover series continues with Perry O’Bree attending the London premiere of Broadway musical The Light In The Piazza at the Royal Festival Hall. Perry gets goosebumps from the beauty and style of the show and has the added bonus of catching up with several members of the cast afterwards including Dove Cameron, Rob Houchen, Celinde Schoenmaker and Liam Tamne. Oh and did we mention that he bumped into Tony Award-winner Ben Platt too?
