(International Tour), Enron (Noël Coward), understudied and played Peron in Evita (UK tour), Alternate Tony in Can't Smile Without You (original cast, UK tour), Billy Idol in The Wedding Singer (original UK cast, UK tour), the Take That musical Never Forget (original cast, UK tour), lead soloist in the musical Starlights (German tour), Buddy Keno Walsh, understudy Jerry Lukowski in The Full Monty (Dublin Olympia and Irish tour), understudied and played Chris in Miss Saigon (UK tour), Chuck Cranston in Footloose (original UK cast, UK tour and Playhouse), Kenickie, understudied and played Danny Zuko in Grease (Victoria Palace, UK and Japanese tour) and Boyband the Musical (Gielgud). Also, Alan-A-Dale in Robin Hood (Gatehouse, Stafford) and Pippin (Bloomsbury) with the National Youth Theatre.

Recordings include: Never Forget (original cast recording and DVD, Universal Pictures).

Other work includes: Richard was part of the Boyband spin-off project Britpack which resulted in a Top 40 record release and numerous appearances on CDUK, Big Breakfast, Blue Peter and GMTV. Richard has appeared in a commercial for Renault Master Van and as a catwalk model for Koshino at London Fashion Week.
