Ria Jones is a British stage and screen actor and musical theatre performer. She played Norma Desmond in the original version of Sunset Boulevard staged by Andrew Lloyd Webber at his private Sydmonton Festival in 1991. Her many other musical credits include: covering Glenn Close as Norma Desmond in Sunset Boulevard (ENO, London Coliseum) and playing the role in the UK tour, Jerry's Girls (St James/Jermyn Street), West End Women (tour), Next to Normal (Singapore), 42nd Street (Leicester), Into the Woods (Singapore), Closer Than Ever (Landor), The Witches of Eastwick (tour), Acorn Antiques (tour), Anything Goes (tour), High Society (Shaftesbury), A Little Night Music (Leicester), Chess (Prince Edward), Evita (Manchester), Honk! (Singapore), Personals (New End), Victor/Victoria (Bridewell) and Nine (Donmar Warehouse).
