He is one-seventh of The School of Night, literary improvisers who have appeared at The British Library, Soho Theatre, The Old Vic Tunnels, three times at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, the English Theatre of Hamburg and the late Jeremy Beadle’s library, and also improvised in Decor without Production (Royal Court). He is a regular collaborator with Slung Low – Camelot: The Shining City (Sheffield Crucible), The White Whale (a new version of Moby Dick), 59 Minutes to Save Christmas (Barbican), Beyond The Frontline (Salford Quays),Mapping The City (Hull).

Oliver is currently developing 'Flood' with Slung Low, for Hull City of Culture UK 2017. Part One will be available on the HCC website late February, and Part 2 will be performed live in Hull in April.
