Michael Storrs is a Dutch/Australian baritone who trained on the Musical Theatre course at the Royal Academy of Music, prior to this Michael studied classical voice at the Utrecht Conservatoire.
Since graduating Michael has had the privilege of working as a backing vocalist with many international stars such as Sir Elton John, Bryn Terfel, Russell Watson, Robbie Williams, Ramin Karimloo, Valeriya as well as on hit television shows such as The X Factor, Britain’s Got Talent, The Ant and Dec show, Sweat The Small Stuff and as part of the BBC Proms – Sondheim at 80 in the Royal Albert Hall. Michael even performed for 200 million people worldwide as part of the Belgian entry for Eurovision 2015 in Vienna which came 4th in the grand final.
Michael’s theatre work includes understudy Javert in Les Miserables at the Queen’s Theatre London, understudy Richard Hannay in The 39 Steps UK Tour as well as the role of Glenn Miller in Bugle Boy - The Life Story of Glenn Miller. Further to this, Michael has toured and recorded internationally with many crossover groups including 12 Tenors and Opera Boys, and also recorded the soundtrack for Impossible, the international award winning magic show which had a residency in the Noel Coward Theatre, London during 2016.
Most recently Michael appeared on the hit television show Pitch Battle with a hybrid of two groups that he owns called VOX-XOVER.
