The roof of the Theatre Royal Haymarket was the place to be today as Take That and cast members celebrated the six-week West End run of The Band at the theatre this Christmas.
Could it be magic? Looks like it, as Tim Firth’s Take That-inspired musical The Band looks set to transfer to London’s Theatre Royal Haymarket from December 2018.
Celebs and fans flocked to the press night of THE BAND on 26 September 2017 and were treated not only to the show itself, but also to a performance from Take That...with a little help from Lulu! During the speeches it was also announced that the tour will be extended by a year and judging by all the glowing reviews it's getting, we're not surprised!
The full cast are now announced for the UK tour of Tim Firth’s new musical, THE BAND, with the music of Take That. The tour will begin at Manchester Opera House on 8 September, with a national press night on Tuesday 26 September 2017 and the advance box office for the show has now topped a record-breaking £10million. How are we going to survive the wait until September? Well, we've got to have some patience...
