On 9 September 2019 he joins the West End cast of of Sara Bareilles’ musical Waitress in the role of Earl, taking over from Peter Hannah who has his final performance on 7 September. Joe Sugg has made his name as a YouTube star, filmmaker, author, vlogger and 2018 Strictly Come Dancing finalist, but now he will be making his stage debut in Waitress at the Adelphi Theatre from 9 September 2019, taking over the role of Ogie from Blake Harrison who leaves on 7 September.
