Born and raised in Cambridge, Katherine Kingsley studied acting at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and at English National Opera's The Knack. As well as her film, TV and voiceover work, she has worked extensively in theatre at venues such as the Donmar Warehouse - Piaf, the Menier Chocolate Factory - She Loves Me and numerous West End Theatres. Katherine has been nominated for three Olivier Awards – one in 2009 for her role as Marlene Dietrich in the Donmar Warehouse production of Piaf!, and the second in 2012 for her role as Lina Lamont in Chichester Festival Theatre production of Singing' in the Rain at the Palace Theatre and, most recently for her portrayal of Helena in the West End production of A Midsummer Night's Dream.
