Theatre Credits Include: Consuleo in On Your Feet (Curve Leicester, London Coliseum & National Tour), Mother Superior in Sister Act (Jamie Wilson Productions/Curve Theatre, directed by Craig Revel Horwood with musical arrangements by Sarah Travis), Marley in Scrooge (Curve Theatre), Grandmother in The Witches (Curve Theatre/No. 1 Tour), Golde in Fiddler On The Roof opposite Paul Michael Glaser (Music & Lyrics Ltd, directed by Craig Revel Horwood with musical arrangements by Sarah Travis), Maria Callas in Master Class (English Theatre Frankfurt), the Susan Boyle Story I Dreamed A Dream (Michael Harrison Entertainment/No. 1 Tour) playing Susan’s mother Bridie Boyle, Morgana in Sleeping Beauty(New Wolsey Ipswich), The Duchess in Alice In Wonderland, Mrs Beaver in The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and Clover in Animal Farm (all for the West Yorkshire Playhouse and Birmingham Rep.), The Talented Mr. Ripley, Sense and Sensibility, Cabaret and Face (Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch), extensive work for Watermill Theatre including Tuxedo Junction, Gladys in Copacabana, Martin Guerre, Katisha in Hot Mikado, Viv in the TMA Best Musical Awarded Spend, Spend, Spend (all Directed by Craig Revel Horwood with musical arrangements by Sarah Travis), Moonlight & Magnolias, Gondoliers (which transferred to the Apollo Theatre, London), Golde in Fiddler On The Roof (which along with Gondoliers also won TMA Best Musical Awards), the title role of Carmen and Mrs. Lovett in the acclaimed production of Sweeney Todd which transferred to London’s Trafalgar Studios and the New Ambassadors Theatre.

Karen’s other London credits include seasons for the Kali Theatre Company, the Drill Hall, the Cherub Theatre Company, the Theatre of Comedy and the Bubble Theatre. She has also appeared in several productions of Return To The Forbidden Planet playing the role of the Science Officer (West End, Japan, National Tour).

Television Credits Include: Karen played a Zygon and morphed into human form in Doctor Who and Consuela in My Family (both BBC); Mirtala in Episodes (Hat Trick), and The Woman in Death of a Salesman (STV).
