Julie Atherton is one of the West End's most versatile entertainers, with a distinctive voice and unmatched comic timing.
The Preston-born star is well known as a supporter of new writing in musical theatre. She has starred in The Green Fairy, The Grinning Man, Avenue Q and Sister Act both in the West End and on tour, and other musicals including Pure Imagination, Therese Raquin, Ordinary Days, Tomorrow Morning, The Last Five Years, tick tick BOOM..., Once Upon A Time At The Adelphi, Just So, Fame, Mamma Mia and Let Him Have Justice. She is also a director, with credits including Club Mex (Hope Mill Theatre) and Bare: A Pop Opera (The Vaults).
