Julia Dray hails from Sydney, Australia. She graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, where she was the recipient of the Hal Leonard Award for Excellence in Musical Theatre. Most recently she completed the Australian Tour of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, as Dance Captain and Swing u/s Carole King & Cynthia Weil.
Other credits include: Beautiful (UK Tour), Avenue Q (Enmore Theatre), Ali McGregor’s Jazzamatazz! (Sydney Festival), Celtic Illusions (Anthony Street), Deadly Women (Beyond Productions), Blanche in the Golden Girls muppet show Thank You For Being A Friend, Spring Awakening (ATYP), Baby (Neglected Musicals/Hayes Theatre) and SLUT (WITS Festival Fatale/Old Fitz Theatre). Julia is a proud member of Equity, and co-founder of the independent theatre company, Edgeware Forum.
