Jennie was born in Brighton and started her professional training along the coast in Worthing, at Glendale Theatre Arts School with additional vocal training with Jan Spooner Swabey. Jennie then earned a place at Laine Theatre Arts in Surrey for 3 years, graduating with Honors and collected various college awards for singing, musical theatre and tap.
On leaving Laine at 19, Jennie’s professional career started immediately, she began performing in the UK tour of SCROOGE alongside the wonderful Anthony Newley, playing ‘Raggedy Anne’, understudying ‘Mary’ and was dance captain. This production marked her West End debut at The Dominion Theatre.
She then toured the UK with SUMMER HOLIDAY understudying and playing Stella and Angie. Following on, she performed in Cameron Mackintosh’s UK tour of OLIVER! where she played the Milkmaid, understudied Mrs Bedwin and was children’s dance captain. This production also toured to Toronto for the Millennium, at the Princess of Wales Theatre.
Jennie then returned to the West End, and has consistently worked and performed in a string of smash hit shows.
