James Dangerfield is an actor and musician who has appeared on stage and film, performing Shakespeare, musical theatre, operetta and pantomime.
James and his violin have toured the world in 2016, appearing as The Old Green Grasshopper, in Sell A Door’s production of James and The Giant Peach. He has also appeared in the West End in Bumblescratch, a new musical by Robbie Sherman, and When Midnight Strikes at the Drayton Arms Theatre. At Christmas he returns to pantoland for a 9th year, this time as Wishee Washee in Aladdin at The Pomegranate Theatre, Chesterfield.
Originally from the North West of England, James studied at Guildford School of Acting and also has a degree in English Literature from Durham University. He is a singer, violinist and pianist. His interests include drawing, graphic design, silent movies, rock music and Viking Mythology!!
