James started his training at the Big Little Theatre School, Bournemouth, and since then has gone on to graduate from Cambridge Performing Arts, Bodywork.
Theatre includes: Riff in West Side Story (Cork Opera House), Joe Vegas in Fame The Musical (Irish Tour), Woof in Hair The Musical (European Tour), Tommy in Concert (Prince Edward Theatre, West End) and We Will Rock You (Dominion Theatre, West End and International Arena Tour) where he covered the lead role of Galileo.
