Ian Bartholomew is an English stage and screen actor. He was nominated for a 2016 Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance as Vivian Van Damme in the world premiere stage adaptation of Mrs Henderson Presents.
He was previously Olivier Award-nominated for the West End musicals Into the Woods and Radio Times. In a career spanning forty years, amongst his many theatre credits he has performed at the National Theatre extensively, most recently in The Power of Yes, and his numerous West End credits also include Shakespeare in Love, Tommy and Terry Johnson’s Dead Funny. In addition to Mrs Henderson Presents, Ian's other musical theatre credits include: Oh What a Lovely War!, Assassins, Take Flight, Guys and Dolls and Tommy.
