HOLLIE CASSAR 

Training: Bodywork Company Dance Studios, where she was the winner of the award for Outstanding Musical Theatre Artist, and the Royal Academy of Music, funded by the Malta Arts Scholarship and the Janatha Stubbs Foundation.

Theatre credits include: Prologue Company in Cabaret (Original West End Revival Cast, Kit Kat Club at the Playhouse); creating the role of Rosie in The Ruff Tuff Cream Puff Estate Agency (World Premiere, Coventry Belgrade); Ensemble u/s Gloria Fajardo and Consuelo in On Your Feet! (Original West End Cast, London Coliseum & UK Tour - nominated for Outstanding Female Dance Performer at the Latin UK Awards); Fortuna/Spatula in Jack and the Beanstalk, Miss Hot Stuff in Hot Stuff (Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch); Tess and Irene Roth in Crazy for You (UK Tour); Spite/Dance Captain in Beauty and the Beast (Watford Palace); Tess in Crazy for You (Watermill); The Sessions: The Beatles at Abbey Road (Royal Albert Hall & UK Arena Tour); Mrs. Hoo/Fitz/Nina in The Ballad of Rudy (Manchester Royal Exchange); Fairy Bowbells in Dick Whittington, Fairy Aubergine in Jack and the Beanstalk (Leeds City Varieties); Anita in West Side Story (Cork Opera House); and Carmen Diaz in Fame – The Musical (Gordon Craig, Stevenage).

Creative credits include: Musical Director and Associate Musical Supervisor for The Choir of Man (West End & International); Musical Director for Cinderella (King’s Head Theatre); Musical Director and Vocal Arranger for A Very Bublé Christmas (Kilworth House); Show Musical Director for Jack and the Beanstalk (Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch); and Tap Choreographer for Beauty and the Beast (Watford Palace).

Hollie is also a singer-songwriter, with multiple releases available on all music platforms. Her songs have been played on various radio stations, including BBC Radio 2. In addition, Hollie has written the book, music and lyrics of the brand-new, original musical, YOU, ME & the rest of the world, which featured at West End Live in June 2024, and most recently, underwent a research and development workshop, funded by Arts Council Malta.

In 2024, Hollie was made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music by the Honours Committee.
