Drou comes from Greek Cypriot heritage, but was born and raised in Weston-Super-Mare (near Bristol) and is now based in London. In 2015 she graduated from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama where she graduated with distinction from her Masters in Music Theatre.
She began her professional training in 2009 at The University of Chichester with a BA (Hons) in Musical Theatre, where she also gained various backstage experience and now has proficient skills in props, costume and set building/painting.
After graduating in 2012 she worked as The Assistant Producer for Brightspark Productions on a variety of TV commercials and from July 2012 she worked in the costume department for first UK Tour of The Lion King. She also worked for ATG on a variety of other shows including: 9 to 5: The Dolly Parton Musical, Matthew Bourne's Sleeping Beauty and Oliver!
The summer of 2013 was a pinnacle point for Drou when she was cast in NYMT's West Side Story. Working with professionals such as Nikolai Foster, Drew McOnie and Tom Deering made her return to training in September 2013 at PPA in Guildford. This led to her gaining a place to study her Masters in Music Theatre in 2014. For full details of Drou's training and credits, pleaseclick here.
At RCSSD she met her fellow peer Abby Restall and in 2016 they collaborated and set up The Hidden Theatre Company. Their company ethos is to 'showcase hidden talent and work to be passionate about' and in 2016 they were the recipients of one of two Equity's Young Member Bursary.

After a super succesful first #FavesWorkshop earlier in the year, we decided to treat another bunch of fab musical theatre performers to our special twitter workshop. The beautiful bunch of StageFaves learnt all about Twitter, from lists and moments to optimising their profiles and the tweets themselves! There was laughter, learning, banter, baked goods and...Belle, the cutest pupper in the world.
