A beautiful moment from a few weeks back singing one of the most beautiful duets from #misssaigon the musical with the iconic and my great friend Irene Alano-Rhodes @irenealanorhodes who was in the original #westend version of it part of our Easter Sunday Concert on the 17th April 2022 accompanied by the incredible David Gibson (@gibby174) as part of our @westendhasfaith concert. This was indeed a very special moment! What an honour it was to sing "This is the moment" from the musical Jekyll and Hyde, during the #alldayconcertcy last Saturday, live from the #pattiheiomunicipaltheatre in Limassol, in support of the struggling artists through this pandemic, highlighting the incompetence of the ones in power to support and save the arts and artists who lost everything. This is the opening song of our #connienronnie 20 mins set, put together especially for this concert. Thank you to those who donated, and #pasynek for organising and all the wonderful people who made it happen. There is one more concert this Sat 30th January dont miss it and keep showing your support if you can. #savethearts #savetheartists #musical #musicaltheatre #thisisthemoment #jekyllandhyde #singer #tenor #westend #broadway #theatre #actor #singerslife #actorslife #live #onlineconcert #pandemic #covid19 #musicheals #healing #hope #together #love #newday #2021
This is from John Legend's 2020 album "Bigger Love". I only came across it yesterday while watching the netflix documentary "Giving Voice", this was the credits song and I listened to the whole thing, something I havent done since the Titanic credits and My Heart Will Go On. A beautiful song that really resonated with me and what we are going through right now. I know it was a personal song for Legend, and the Giving Voice show, but I felt the urge to learn it and sing it with raw emotion, no mic effects, just me and my old piano, with some lyrics adopted to make sense to how I feel right now. The world is a mad mad place for a while now, lets hold on together, we will never break, we will get through this storm, together. A huge hug from me to all of you, Love will remain. I hope it enpowers you to keep going as strong as you can, we will see the end of this, we are all broken, some more than others, but we can always have some more hope for better days. Stay safe everyone xxx ________________________________ Lyrics (adopted) WE GOT A GOOD THING WHENEVER LIFE IS HARD WE LL NEVER LOSE OUR WAY CAUSE WE KNOW WHO WE ARE WHO KNOWS ABOUT TOMORROW? WE DONT KNOW WHATS IN THE STARS I JUST KNOW I LL ALWAYS FOLLOW THE LIGHT IN OUR HEARTS IM NOT WORRIED ABOUT IT AND I VE NEVER BEEN WE KNOW HOW THE STORY ENDS WE WILL NEVER BREAK WE WILL NEVER BREAK BUILT ON A FOUNDATION STRONG ENOUGH TO STAY WE WILL NEVER BREAK AS THE WATER RISES AND THE MOUNTAINS SHAKE OUR LOVE WILL REMAIN THE WORLD IS DANGEROUS THROW IT ALL AT US THERE IS NOTHING WE CANT TAKE WE WILL NEVER BREAK WE WILL NEVER BREAK BUILT ON A FOUNDATION STRONG ENOUGH TO STAY WE WILL NEVER BREAK AS THE WATER RISES AND THE MOUNTAINS SHAKE OUR LOVE WILL REMAIN WE WILL NEVER BREAK #LOCKDOWN #LOCKDOWNS #PANDEMIC #COVID19 #WEWILLNEVERBREAK #NEVERBREAK #JOHNLEGEND #JOHNLEGENDCOVER #COVERSONG #COVER #WHOWEARE #OURLOVEWILLREMAIN #HOPE #STRENGTH #COURAGE #LOVE #2021
This beautiful song with these beautiful lyrics touched me from the very first time I have heard it, when it was released in May 2018. Apart from the fact that it is a Celine Dion song for the Deadpool 2 soundtrack - those who know me well wouldn't not be surprised - it really resonated with me at a time that I felt a little bit lost and rather disappointed with how things were going. This song really inspired me to find some beauty out of the occasional "ashes" and burnouts of reality. The song was recorded and Mixed by Simon Allen at Woodbury Studios. The video includes some of my favourite moments from the past 7 years that I spent in London as an actor-singer. I couldn't fit it all in so these are the highlights, and I wish all pictures were of higher quality. But it does the job, it reflects my journey, although sometimes not so smooth, filled with lots of fun memories and great friendships, that I will cherish forever! I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed singing it. Whatever happens we have to "let beauty come out of ashes". Constantine xx
