An emerging musical talent, making a name for herself as a uniquely proficient artist with a voice that fuses her Classical Soprano roots with a contemporary spin of Pop and Jazz. Christine Allado is an all around performer and actress who has appeared on stages and broadcasts all over Asia, and London's West End. Credits include The Prince of Egypt, Hamilton (original London cast), In the Heights, Beyond the Fence, From Here to Eternity and Here Lies Love at the National Theatre. She is also part of "Zyrah", a classical crossover girl group with an epic cinematic influence. She trained at the Royal Academy of Music where she received a post graduate degree in Music Theatre in 2013.
Her acting career started in the Philippines where she starred in productions such as "The Phantom of the Opera: Revue" (2009) as Christine Daea, "Hairspray" (2008) as Amber Von Tussle and "Joseph the Dreamer" (2009) whilst juggling studies for a Bachelors degree in Business Finance. Concurrently she appeared in television programs of GMA7, ABS-CBN and QTV. She also landed a major ad campaign with Colgate-Palmolive in 2008 which made her one of the faces of the shampoo giant.
Soon after, international stages beckoned which led her to relocate to Hong Kong where she played the leads in Disney's "High School Musical" (2009) and "The Golden Mickeys" (2010) .
She was featured in Hong Kong Tatler magazine and other local media as a breakthrough artist in the industry. Opportunities allowed her to perform in prestigious venues such as the Langham, Four Seasons, Ritz- Carlton, Asia Exhibition Centre and other venues in Bali, Macau and Kuala Lumpur.
Success in Asia sparked her desire to move on to a bigger platform. London was the next destination. She received her first break after wowing the judges at a music competition who just so happened to be Sir Tim Rice and Director Tamara Harvey. She then landed a featured role and understudied the lead in Sir Tim Rice's new musical "From Here to Eternity" (2013). Her dream of being a professional artist on the London stage had become a reality and she continues to pursue a diverse and promising career as an actress and singer, including joining the original London cast of Hamilton.

An original cast recording of The Prince Of Egypt, the new musical based on the acclaimed DreamWorks Animation film, will be released on Ghostlight Records in digital and streaming formats on 3 April 2020. A physical CD will be available later this year.
Our #FirstNightTakeover series continues with Perry O’Bree attending the opening of The Prince Of Egypt at London’s Dominion Theatre. In the same week that the run of this epic production was extended by seven weeks, until 21 October 2020, Perry was busy catching up with the stars on the Red Carpet (Kerry Ellis, Jay McGuiness, Elaine Paige) as well as the creative team, including legendary composer Stephen Schwartz and his son Scott, the show’s director.
It’s been quite a week for the London production of The Prince Of Egypt with its official opening at London’s Dominion Theatre and news announced that the show’s run will be extended for a further seven weeks, with tickets available for the period up to 21 October 2020.
We’ve heard a lot about the grown-ups appearing in the London production of The Prince of Egypt at the Dominion Theatre, based on the celebrated DreamWorks Animation film, but now it’s time for the cast of young performers to shine.
Just look at the fairy tale cast for the UK premiere of the Broadway version of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, in concert at Cadogan Hall on 20 October. Joining Christine Allado’s Ella will be Jodie Jacobs, Dean John-Wilson, Cedric Neal, Dianne Pilkington, Zoe Rainey and Jac Yarrow. Will you be going to the ball?
