Best known for commanding stage presence, Busisiwe Ngejane’s talent and love for music started at Fezeka Senior Secondary under Mr Pumelele Tsewu. She joined the Isango Ensemble training program Portobello Productions in 2007, and toured London West End with The Magic Flute playing the role of Pamina.
Other roles with the Isango Ensemble include Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Mimi in La Boheme, Micaela in Carmen and Foosiya in A Man of Good hope. Her film credits include Mimi in La Boheme and Mrs Ham in Noyes Fludde. In 2013, she joined Cape Town Opera as a member of the African Angels group which toured to The Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. She also toured to Madrid with CTO’s Porgy and Bess. She also appeared in Tiger Bay the Musical.
