Amy graduated from the Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts (LIPA) with a B.A. Hons Acting. She has loved Musical Theatre from a very young age, playing the role of “Grettle” (Sound of Music) at 5 years old, and has since then enjoyed playing roles such as “Pitti-Sing” (The Hot Mikado), “Queenie” (HONK!) and “Sugar” (Some Like It Hot). Her roles ,while at LIPA, include “Marya” (The Government Inspector), “Rosalind” (As You Like It), “Gilda”, “Mrs. Tilly” and “Flynn” (Loveplay), “Ursula” (Sweet Charity), “Lead Singer” (They Shoot Horses, Don’t They?) and “Mole” (Wind in the Willows). Amy played a “Silly Girl” in Festival Production’s ‘Beauty and the Beast’, “Ariel” (Footloose) with Stillorgan Musical Company, “Pitti-Sing” (The Hot Mikado) with HXT Musical Society and “Ado Annie” (Oklahoma!)in the National Concert Hall with renowned group, the R&R. Amy recently set up a theatre group, MUSE Theatre Company and produced and directed the company’s debut show, “Songs for a New World” by Jason Robert Brown. Amy played the role of “Holly”(The Wedding Singer) with the Avonmore Musical Society and won an AIMS Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. She was also runner-up for Best Actress at AIMS 2012 for the role of Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. She appeared on BBC’s “Over The Rainbow” in summer 2010 and progressed to the final 50. For the past 9 months, Amy performed onboard the Legend of the Seas as Girl 1 and Vocal Captain with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line Productions. Amy most recently played the role of “Wednesday Addams” in the Irish premiere of Andrew Lippa’s ‘The Addams Family’.
