Alison is from Cork, where she earned her undergraduate degree at University College Cork, and went on to train in London at the Royal College of Music and the Royal Academy of Music where she is now an awarded Associate.
She can most recently be seen in as the host in Summer Revels at the Cork Opera House, and as Elizabeth Cromwell in Oliver Cromwell Is Really Very Sorry as the show toured Ireland, following her Best Performer nomination for the same role at Dublin Fringe Festival.
Other credits include: Broadway Proms at Cork Opera House, The Magician’s Elephant with the RSC, Malory Towers directed by Emma Rice and the 50th Anniversary Tour of Hair. She also performed in the Tempest with the RSC and Operas including, Les Liaisons Dangereuse and Tannhaüser.
Alison was a finalist for the Inaugural Sondheim Festival bursary 2023 and a prize winner in the Lotte Lenya International Singing Competition.
Alison is also a comedian and cabaret performer and has performed at Edinburgh Fringe; Melbourne International Comedy Festival and some of the top cabaret venues in the West End.

New term dates are in the calendar for Wise Children’s musical adaptation of Enid Blyton’s Malory Towers, now in a co-production with Theatre by the Lake, Keswick, where the tour will open on 27 March 2020. London dates see the show running at the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall from 27 July to 31 August.
