Originally from Hastings, East Sussex, Alan was born on 4 September 1982, and grew up in and around Ealing in West London, he attended Drayton Manor High School (which boasts Jay Kay of Jamiroquai, Rick Wakeman, Peter Crouch and many other well known names amongst it's ex-pupils), Alan also went to Richmond Upon Thames College. After graduating from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth, with a degree in Drama, he immediately played Don John (and Friar Francis), in a National Tour of Much Ado About Nothing.
Alan recently appeared as Big Davey/Ensemble in the hit musical Billy Elliot, at the Victoria Palace Theatre on London's West En. Alan also appeared as Big Davey in the cinema broadcast Billy Elliot the Musical Live, which was beamed live to almost 600 cinemas in the UK & Ireland, and to cinemas around the world. In May 2015, Alan was part of the company of the 10 year anniversary performance of Billy Elliot.
