Composers are being asked to write ‘A Song for our Time’, an original song to be recorded by West End stars and a huge virtual choir with all proceeds going to Acting For Others. The final song will be chosen by Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown.
It may not have been the Broadway smash Rosie O'Donnell hoped for back in 2003, but us Brits know a good thing when we see it and TABOO lives on in the hearts of anyone who saw the show or heard the beautiful score! Our Song of the Week is "Stranger in this World" from a musical we think deserves a revival REALLY soon!!

We haven't stopped talking about COME FROM AWAY since it was announced that the show will be coming to the UK in early 2019 so it just felt right to choose a song of the week from this fab show! "Me and the Sky" tells the fantastic (and true!) tale of Beverley Bass, who led the first all-female crew in the history of commercial jet aviation. Performed here by Jenn Colella, marvel at the awesomeness of one woman, sung in the awesome voice of another...

Our StageFaves Song Of The Week this week is "The Ascot Gavotte" from MY FAIR LADY. We think this version from the 1964 film looks like the poshest game of Musical Statues we've ever seen...
