In amidst all the theatre closures taking place due to the coronavirus crisis, Thriller Live performed its last Moonwalk at London’s Lyric Theatre on 15 March 2020, just three shows away from becoming the 11th-longest running West End musical of all time. It was the show’s 4657th West End performance.

Presented at the Edinburgh Fringe by the team behind West End smash Heathers The Musical, the UK premiere of hit US musical Cruel Intentions: The ’90s Musical – based on the cult Hollywood film – has attracted quite a cast including Dominic Andersen, Rebecca Gilhooley, Evelyn Hoskins, Sophie Isaacs and Dean John-Wilson. Are you ready to binge on 90s hits?

Cruel Intentions: The ‘90s Musical is based on a cult Hollywood movie, it’s packed with 90s pop classics from Britney Spears, Boyz II Men, Christina Aguilera, Natalie Imbruglia, *NSYNC, R.E.M and many more, and it’s having its UK premiere at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe. What else could we ask for?

StageFaves’ Perry O’Bree attended the West End charity gala opening of The Band at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, a special night raising money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Perry was there on the Red Carpet to chat to all the talented cast – one confessed to being a big fan of Perry – as well as Take That’s Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Mark Owen and Robbie Williams too! Nathan Amzi saves the day as smash-hit musical Heathers has its official opening at the Theatre Royal Haymarket this week. His name is now on the Westerberg High register and will remain there until the end of the semester on 24 November.

Celebs and fans flocked to the press night of THE BAND on 26 September 2017 and were treated not only to the show itself, but also to a performance from Take That...with a little help from Lulu! During the speeches it was also announced that the tour will be extended by a year and judging by all the glowing reviews it's getting, we're not surprised!

Could you imagine a more exciting night for a Take That fan? Monday On 11 September 2017, Take That surprised the audience of their new musical THE BAND with a special performance during the show's finale at the Manchester Opera House! They joined the cast of the show onstage and performed the finale again as one super-group ensemble!
In the play and design categories, Harry Potter & the Cursed Child swept the board with a record nine wins at the 2017 Olivier Awards. In the musical categories, there were double wins for Dreamgirls, Groundhog Day and Andrew Lloyd Webber, but Half a Sixpence and The Girls went home empty-handed...
