Our #FirstNightTakeover series continues with Perry O’Bree attending the opening of Pretty Woman The Musical at London’s Piccadilly Theatre. Perry lives the dream, enjoying every minute of this new addition to the West End, and chats to lead players Aimie Atkinson, Danny Mac, Rachael Wooding and Bob Harms. Oh, and did we mention, he was sitting next to Six The Musical’s Natalie May Paris?
Rehearsals begin this week for Pretty Woman: The Musical, opening at London’s Piccadilly Theatre on 13 February 2020, so it’s the perfect time to share the news of full casting for the show. Aimie Atkinson and Danny Mac, playing the roles of Vivian and Edward, will be joined by Rachael Wooding, Bob Harms, Neil McDermott and Mark Holden. We have to go shopping now...
We want the fairy tale when Pretty Woman: The Musical opens for a 46-week season on 13 February 2020 and we now know that it will be Aimie Atkinson as Vivian and Danny Mac as Edward who will be bringing it to London’s Piccadilly Theatre.

Huge’: Yes, it’s been confirmed, on the most romantic day of the calendar in 2020, much-anticipated Broadway show Pretty Woman: The Musical will begin previews at London’s Piccadilly Theatre, playing for a 46-week engagement. Now we can start speculating about whether Andy Karl and Samantha Barks will also make the journey.

Our #FirstNightTakeover series continues with Perry O’Bree attending the West End opening of Dolly Parton’s 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL at the Savoy Theatre, continuing in the West End to 31 August 2019. Perry was there at the after-party to catch up with several members of the cast including Caroline Sheen, Amber Davies, Natalie McQueen, Brian Conley and Bonnie Langford. Watch out for Brian describing Perry as one of the best theatre vloggers around & some expert video-bombing fromOlivier Award winner Michael Jibson!

A stream of A-listers including Paul McCartney, Bryan Cranston, Judi Dench, Henry Cavill, Whoopi Goldberg, Jack Black, Steve Martin and more have contributed to a music video for ‘The Hero – A West End & Friends Tribute’ alongside stars of London’s West End (Charlie Stemp, Marisha Wallace, Cleve September, Kerry Ellis and oodles more #StageFaves). Everyone involved wished to pay thanks to servicemen and women around the world and to raise money for the UK charity, Help For Heroes.
Fans of Ben Adams and Chris Wilkins’ high-energy 80s-inspired British musical Eugenius! The Musical will be ‘No Pants Dancing’ with excitement following the news that the show is to transfer to the Ambassadors Theatre from 27 October 2018 to 5 January 2019 #GoEugenius!

Fans of Eugenius! The Musical are going to love this. Not only do they get to see Daniel Buckley’s Feris and Melissa James’ Super Hot Lady strutting their stuff in this hilarious ‘No Pants Dance’ video, but we think we might have spotted producer Warwick Davis and writer Ben Adams in the background too!

The news is out that Star Wars legend Mark Hamill will be the voice of ‘Kevin The Robot’ in Eugenius! The Musical which has its gala night on 31 January at The Other Palace.
