Burt Bacharach will have gained a lot more fans after the success of Close to You, which finished its West End run in February, and now they can get another fix. Bacharach's Nearly 50 years after its West End premiere, Bacharach's Broadway hit PROMISES, PROMISES - which includes classic songs like I'll Never Fall In Love Again and I Say A Little Prayer - gets its first London revival at Southwark Playhouse next year. After touring in Guys and Dolls and delivering Flowers for Mrs Harris in Sheffield, respectively, #StageFaves favourites Louise Dearman and Laura Pitt-Pulford will return to the London stage, working very closely together... as conjoined twins in the UK premiere of Broadway musical SIDE SHOW in October at Southwark Playhouse...

Not content with taking over Charing Cross Theatre and helming a season of major musicals there, director Thom Southerland and producer Danielle Tarento return to Southwark Playhouse with another major coup: the European premiere of Rodgers & Hammerstein's ALLEGRO, nearly 70 years after its Broadway premiere.

Following its acclaimed premiere at London Theatre Workshop in December last year, the musical play Through the Mill transfers to the Large at Southwark Playhouse this summer, running from 6 to 30 July 2016, with a press night on Friday 8 July.
