2017
Disney knows a thing or two about getting people talking - and sharing. We loved their use of social media at West End Live this year. In the Disney hut, fans were encouraged to get pics of themselves with props and costumes from Disney's two current West End hits, ALADDIN and THE LION KING, both of which performed at this weekend's festival....
Today, the London production of THE LION KING welcomes 11 new cast members from all over the world, including #StageFaves Janique Charles, Gary Jordan and Dominique Planter who take over the principal roles of ‘Nala’, ‘Zazu’ and ‘Shenzi’ respectively. Now in its 18th year, over 14 million people have seen Disney’s award-winning musical at the Lyceum Theatre and we can't wait to see the new cast in action.

We're still hoping the actual stage show will join fellow Disney hits The Lion King and Aladdin in the West End at some point. Following the success of Sunday at the Musicals, we at #StageFaves are delighted to once again team up with producer Paul Burton as digital media partner for his next London concert. SUMMER AT THE MUSICALS, held once again in aid of the Royal Variety Charity, takes place at the Phoenix Arts Club on Sunday 28 August 2016 at 5pm.
