Fresh from his success directing Ain’t Misbehavin’ at Southwark Playhouse, Tyrone Huntley will be back in the spotlight, playing the role of Wes in the European premiere of new LGBTQ+ musical The View Upstairs, previewing from 18 July 2019 at London’s Soho Theatre. With Andy Mientus, Declan Bennett, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Cedric Neal and John Partridge already in the line-up, it’s turning into quite a cast!

The mark of true #StageFaves is that not only are they great performers onstage, but that they are also great people offstage. So it is amazing to see how many performers have answered the call from Giles Terera and Danielle Tarento to join Songs and Solidarity on Sunday 25th June. Taking place at Trafalgar Studios 1 at 7.30pm, Songs and Solidarity is a West End fundraising gala evening of song, dance and comedy for the hundreds of families made homeless and the relatives of those who lost their lives in the Grenfell Tower fire.

Last night, THE COLOR PURPLE returned to the London stage with a concert at Cadogan Hall. The cast was filled with loads of #StageFaves, featurning Marisha Wallace, Rachel John, Wendy Mae Brown, Tyrone Huntley, Cavin Cornwall, Hugh Maynard, Seyi Omooba, T'Shan Williams, Bernadette Bangura, Rochelle Jackman and Krishana Parker. It was staged to raised funds for The British Theatre Academy, a unique performing arts programme that has inspired and nurtured the talent of thousands of young performers over the past 30 years.
