Fresh from his success directing Ain’t Misbehavin’ at Southwark Playhouse, Tyrone Huntley will be back in the spotlight, playing the role of Wes in the European premiere of new LGBTQ+ musical The View Upstairs, previewing from 18 July 2019 at London’s Soho Theatre. With Andy Mientus, Declan Bennett, Victoria Hamilton-Barritt, Cedric Neal and John Partridge already in the line-up, it’s turning into quite a cast!

Having just celebrated its 20th anniversary in the West End at the Novello Theatre, Mamma Mia! is going from strength to strength. Our #FirstNightTakeover series continues with Perry O’Bree attending the West End opening of AMOUR at the Charing Cross Theatre. Perry was there taking in the intimate atmosphere of Michel Legrand’s musical fantasy and of course fitting in some post-show chats with cast members Anna O’Byrne, Elissa Churchill and Claire Machin. It was a ‘chocolate box of delightful joy’ and Perry seems to have loved every bite!

A year and a day after Gillian Lynne DBE sadly passed away, ‘To Gillie, With Love’ will see stars of the world of dance, theatre, film and TV come together on 2 July 2019 at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre, to show their admiration and thanks. Already in the line-up are Sierra Boggess, Ben Forster, Linzi Hateley, Ramin Karimloo, Beverley Knight and the New Adventures Company. A special evening is in store.

We couldn't be more excited that Michel Legrand's AMOUR is finally coming to the UK for a professional production, but we're saddened that Michel himself, who died in January, couldn't see it.
