Kyle Riabko is a singer, guitarist, songwriter, and actor who grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Kyle spent his teen years performing as an opening act for a wide range of artists, including BB King, James Brown, Buddy Guy, Keb Mo, Jason Mraz, and John Mayer, among others. He released a full length album of original music on Columbia/Aware Records at the age of 17.
Next, Kyle went on to star on Broadway and in the first national tour of the acclaimed rock musical “Spring Awakening” and subsequently starred on Broadway in the hit revival of “Hair”. He has also appeared as an actor in various film and tv projects.
Most recently, Kyle created and starred in “What’s It All About? Bacharach Reimagined” at New York Theatre Workshop, the acclaimed Off Broadway theatre where such Broadway bound hits as “Once”, “Rent”, and “Peter and the Starcatcher” all originated. Kyle did the musical arrangements for the show which received the very enthusiastic support of Burt Bacharach; “What’s It All About?” was directed by Steven Hoggett, the acclaimed choreographer of “Once” and “American Idiot”, among other award-winning shows.
For his performance in “What’s It All About?”, Kyle received a prestigious Lucille Lortel nomination for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Musical, and the show also received three other Lortel nominations, including one for Outstanding Musical. The show was also named “One of the Year’s Best” by The New York Times.

Social Distancing + Home Studio = Creativity As the world copes with the mind-numbing reality of staying in for weeks and weeks, I thought I’d take the opportunity to do some writing and recording in the home studio. It’s my happy place — multi-tracking for countless hours, like I’ve been doing since I bought my first 4-Track TASCAM Cassette Recorder at 10 years old. I’ve been meaning to release a video series like this for a while, and now I’ve run out of excuses to avoid it. So here is Track 1 — “Misery Loves Company”. More to come. Stay Safe. Thanks for listening, Kyle
